Live in or close to Sacramento? Getting married next Spring?! Get inspired with our latest styled shoot and uncover all vendors involved!
It was such a joy to meet, collaborate, and work with local vendors in the Sacramento area. There is so much talent here and I am honored to have been a part of it. This spread is filled with beautiful soft pastel peaches, blues, and lavender colors complimented by gold accents. The set was styled around a rustic theme with elegant and romantic touches. It took place at the perfect venue! A gorgeous country estate, The Maples, in Woodland Ca.
The weather on the day of the shoot was between 35 and 40 degrees (but it felt below freezing) with on and off rain all day. Regardless of the weather the team pushed forward to make the best of what we had. The inspiration, coordination, and event styling was done by myself, Kristina of Events by Kristina Elyse. My role is to work closely with all vendors to be sure the team is able to collaborate and put out a cohesive style for the shoot.
Regardless of the rain and cloud cover the photos and video turned out beautifully. Chris of Classic City Films took the behind the scenes footage of the set up and a short interview with me. The video was later edited by Darin Reyes of Darin Reyes Productions. Click Here to see the full video!
Liz of Liz Zimbelman Photography took our photos and took so many AMAZING detail shots and breathtaking photos of our model Alexandra Kimiko Clark. She is one of the most talented photographers in the Sacramento area and so much fun to work with! Alexandra, our model, has incredible natural beauty, but our hair and makeup artists Lea Buehler of BGorgeous and Tayrn Passifione of Life’s Beauty Mark got her camera ready. Lea specializes in both hair and makeup services, but for this shoot she did hair while Taryn did makeup. All three girls were laughing and talking while working together creating a fun and relaxed environment. Both artists are extremely talented and gave Alexandra that perfect bridal glow that I was after.
The dress she wore was a Hayley Paige called “Jax”. The dress was loaned out to us by La Soie Bridal in Sacramento Ca. La Soie specializes in a custom bridal dress shopping experience and has a few other locations spread out in California.
All floral design including Alexandra’s bridal bouquet were thought of and put together by Shannon, founder of FLOURISH a event floral company in Sacramento. Shannon did an excellent job of collecting the perfect colors and flowers for this shoot!
Working with the details we had Kathleen of Blush and Birch Paper create all stationery for the shoot including invitations, signs, guest book, table numbers, menus, and place cards. Blush and Birch Paper is your one stop shop for all signage and stationery for any event.
Our delicious canapes and signature drink were created by Jeremy founder of Acoustic Events a new catering company located in Sacramento Ca. They specialize in event catering and coordination.
Our wedding cake was created by Anisha of Frosted Creations. She also makes cakes, french macaroons, and other smaller baked goods for all events big and small.
All the tables, chairs, and most tabletop items including linen were provided by Celebrations in Sacramento. I worked closely with Tricia who has just opened a new Celebrations showroom located in downtown Sacramento!
Other rental items from this shoot including the love seat, wooden bar, cake cart, gold votives, and some other odd and ends were provided by Ramona founder of Simple Country Weddings. Her showroom is expansive and is located in Rancho Cordova Ca. She has the most adorable one of a kind items for any event.
